Healthy Smoothie Recipes | Strawberry Sprouts Honey Kale Smoothie
I just love strawberry smoothies. There are many variations to the strawberry smoothie. Today I will share the one I drink several times a week. This smoothie is packed with tons of vitamins. It also has what may seem like some unusual ingredients (kale and romaine) — don't worry it tastes yummy!
So get your blenders plugged in. Get your ingredients ready. And let's begin!
Strawberry Smoothie Recipe (Variation #1)
1 lb fresh strawberries (or frozen if you can't get fresh)
handful of sprouts
Several tablespoons of raw honey (add to your taste)
1/2 head of romaine
4 leaves of kale
1/2 tablespoon flaxseed oil
1 teaspoon psyillium seed husks
1-2 cups ice
Put all ingredients in your blender.
After it is blended really smooth, add 1-2 cups of crushed ice
and blend again until smooth. ENJOY!
Drink immediately to get the best vitamins and nutrition.
However, if you have to…you can store it in your refrigerator for a day or so as long as you have it in an airtight container.
