Is there a difference between flax seed oil and flax seeds?
flax seed oil is hard to get and expensive.

If you are going to use flax seeds – you want to
a) keep them refrigerated at all times and
b) grind them up just before you add them to your smoothies (a coffee bean grinder works great for flax seeds)
