Smoothie Cleanse - Day 3 - Wednesday December 13
I just want to mention that a lot of people know they are losing control with food durng the holidays but they wait until January 1 to get back on track.
I don't recommend it.
You can really get a head start on losing weight
and improving your health by taking some small steps now.
That is what I am doing with this smoothie weight loss cleanse.
I am not a party pooper - I am still going to enjoy some great food
on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
I am just not going to power eat junk food through the holidays.
It makes me feel yucky! 
Plus, I don't want to start on January 1st to repair damage I could have avoided…..
Alright - I am off my soapbox…..back to the daily disclosure.

What I Ate/Drank 12/13:
Drank lots of water all day long
Early A.M.
My usual 2 cups of wonderful strong coffee with 1/2 and 1/2
7:45 AM
24 oz Green Lemonade (get recipe on this site)
9:45 AM
20 oz Blackberry Banana Smoothie (get recipe on this site)
Noon
1 pear
1:30 PM
20 oz Tropical Pineapple Smoothie
4:20 PM
12 oz Tropical Pineapple Smoothie
7 PM
2 mandarin oranges
8:00 PM
1 banana
and……2 pieces of sugarfree gum throughout the day
Note: I add Psyllium Seed Husks and Flaxseed Oil to all my smoothies
Exercise
Cardio: 40 minutes on the treadmill (slow jog/fast walk)
** less cardio than usual do to an early morning appointment
Strength: none (this is my weakness….)
Flexibility/Stretching: 5 minutes (need more)
Critique of 3rd Day:
Overall an okay day. Glad I am sticking with the eating plan.
I followed the eating plan of green smoothies/fruits/veggies and no junk (except for the gum).
Total Pedometer Steps: 9,661 = 4.57 miles (did not reach my goal of 10,000 steps or more but I came close)
Cardio Exercise: 40 minutes (Goal each day is 30 minutes or more)
Strength Training: I have got to implement strength training - for some reason I don't find the time
Flexibilty/Stretching - 5 minutes (met my minimum - need to add 5 more min. throughout the day)

Weigh In - first thing Thursday Morning (12/14):
156.2 (lost 3.6 lbs since beginning 3 days ago) Yippee!
