Pineapple Orange Green Smoothie
1/2 fresh pineapple chunked
1' peeled ginger root (can be grated if you prefer)
2-3 large red kale leaves (any variety of kale is fine)
2 LARGE handfuls baby spinach (about 4-5 oz)
Juice of 1 orange
1-2 teaspoons Raw Honey (optional - if you want it sweeter)
1 cup ice
Healthy Optional Additions I use in my smoothies:
1/2 tablespoon flaxseed oil
1-2 teaspoons Psyillium seed husks
2 tablespoons protein powder
Blend all fruits and vegetables and healthy additions.
Then add ice a little at a time and blend until smooth.
Use only as much ice as you like to get the consistency you like.
