Flaxseed Banana Yogurt (or Tofu) Smoothie
Note: I add flaxseed oil to almost every smoothie I make. So if you are wanting to have flaxseed smoothies, please review the many other recipes on this site for great ideas.
1 medium banana or any fruit of your choice
1/4 cup yogurt or tofu
1-2 tablespoons of concentrated fruit juice (your choice)
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup soy milk or lowfat milk
1 Tablespoon flaxseed oil
1 Tablespoon flaxseed meal
Dash of cinnamon
1 cup ice
Blend all food ingredients. Then, IF you like a chilled smoothie, add a little ice at a time to your blender until you get the consistency and chill that you like.
