Apple Banana Blackberry Smoothie Recipe
1 apple (cut in chunks and cored)
2 bananas
1 cup of blackberries
2/3 cup apple juice
1-2 teaspoons psyllium seed husks (as recommended by Dr Oz) (optional)
ice (optional)
Blend all fruits, fruit juice and psyllium. Then add ice (if you like) a little at a time until you get the consistency you desire. Enjoy!
Note: To make this a "green" smoothie for added nutrition you simply add 4-5 leaves of kale or 1 big handful of spinach or romaine. It gives your smoothie an added boost of enzymes, nutrients and vitamins and you it still tastes awesome!!
