Orange Pineapple Smoothie Recipe
1/2 of a fresh pineapple (peeled and chunked)
2 oranges (peeled and in sections)
juice of a fresh lime
1/3 cup of orange juice
1-2 teaspoons psyllium seed husks (as recommended by Dr Oz)
ice
Blend all fruits, fruit juices and healthy extras. Then add ice a little at a time until you get the desired consistency you like.
Note: You can make this into a green smoothie by simply adding 4-5 leaves of kale, 1/2 head of romaine, or a huge handful of spinach. Easy, nutritious and you hardly taste the greens because the fruits/fruit juices taste so good!
