Honeydew Melon Frozen Yogurt Smoothie Recipe
2 cups honeydew melon (peeled and cut in chunks)
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1 and 1/2 cups vanilla frozen yogurt
1-2 teaspoons psyllium seed husk (optional - recommended by Dr Oz)
ice (optional - use only if desired)
In your blender, blend the melon and lemon juice, then add the frozen yogurt and psyllium seed husks until smooth. If the smoothie is not as thick as you like it you can add a couple ice cubes to your blender and blend again until totally smooth.
If you want to make this into a green smoothie - simply add a handful of spinach leaves or kale leaves to your blender and you will get even more added nutrition without sacrificing any taste. Enjoy!
