Banana Prune Vanilla Fruit Smoothie Recipe
2 bananas (make sure your bananas are ripe - with little brown dots on the skin)
10 prunes (soaked and pitted)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup apple juice
ice (as desired)
Blend the bananas, prunes, vanilla and apple juice. Then if you want your smoothie a little cooler, you can add some ice to your blender and blend until very smooth.
This is a very tasty smoothie that also helps keep you regular. I add psyllium seed husks to almost all my smoothies to get the same great fiber effect. Either way…..Enjoy!
