Raspberry Cranberry Apple Fresh Fruit Smoothie Recipe
2 cups raspberries
1 cup cranberries
2 apples (cored and cut in chunks - if you like you can leave the peels on)
1/2 cup apple juice
ice (as desired)
optional healthy additions:
1-2 teaspoons psyllium seed husks (great fiber - does not change the taste at all - recommended by Dr. Oz)
1 teaspoon flaxseed oil (so good for you - I add it to almost all my smoothies)
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Regarding the ice - it is optional - I add a bit of ice to the blender after blending all the other ingredients because I like my smoothie chilled and a bit thicker. Then I blend everything until totally smooth and pour into a glass and enjoy!
