Apple Blueberry Banana Tofu Smoothie Recipe
1/2 apple (cut in chunks)
1 cup blueberries, blackberries or raspberries
1/2 lemon (washed and peeled)
1 banana
1/2 cup silken tofu (nonfat plain yogurt can be substituted)
ice (add as desired to make your smoothie thick and chilled)
optional healthy additions:
1-2 teaspoons psyllium seed husks (great fiber - does not change the taste at all - recommended by Dr. Oz)
1 teaspoon flaxseed oil (so good for you - I add it to almost every smoothie)
Blend all ingredients until smooth - then enjoy!
